U.N.I.O.N, the acronym for the United Network Of Igbo Organization in all Nations.

It is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at uniting Igbo professionals across the world to promote, uphold and harness the language, culture and ethos of igboness for the posterity and upliftment of igbos as individuals and as a collective to attain their highest potentials.

The goals of U.N.I.O.N include:

• Preserving the Igbo Language
• Preserving the ethos of Igbos
• Maximizing the enormous potentials of the Igbo nationals
• Optimizing the development of the Igbo nations in Nigeria

Promoting the global outlook of Igbos

U.N.I.O.N, actualizes its objectives through:

• INTERNATIONAL CONFRATERNITIES – International association of different professional groups to foster global networking the Igbo professionals within the groups such as INTERNATIONAL CONFRATERNITY OF IGBO CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS (ICICA), INTERNATIONAL CONFRATERNITY OF IGBO ENERTAINERS (ICIENT), among others.
• TOWN UNIONS – fostering global networking of Igbos from the same town for the advancement of every individual and family from their towns and communities both locally and abroad.
• THE IGBO ACADEMY – an association of 40 members, devoted chiefly to preserving the purity of the Igbo language and establishing standards of proper usage.
• THE IGBO LANGUAGE SCHOOL – free Igbo lectures for all ages seeking to deepen understanding of Igbo language, culture and ethos of excellence.
• FOCAL CAUSE – Adopting and promoting a focal cause for the common good, one at a time.
